Migrating H5P Content?

City College of San Francisco has an H5P license, but we are considering having our instructors move their activities into the LibreTexts H5P account.

Is there an easy or recommended way to transfer H5P activities between the two accounts? I’m especially interested in whether there is a straightforward export/import workflow.

Alex - We had some issues with the forum that we were unaware of - so I apologize. You can export and import H5P activities. A colleague Paul, put together a nice how-to: on the math library.

Justin Shorb. Thanks for the response. Well aware of the reuse option to import one at a time. I was hoping there was a "bulk upload" kind of feature.

We are thinking about enabling the H5P OER Hub in our H5P instance. Would that make it easier for our facult to share their activities with your Studio version of H5P? Have you enabled it in your instance?

Alex I'll check with @Delmar to see if we have a point-of-contact for Studio you can chat with. We are not currently hooked up to the H5P OER Hub (that I'm aware of), but it looks like a nice tool. We may contact you to set up a chat!

@Alex - I chatted with @Delmar - we have, in the past, used our team of student harvesters to import these in by hand. This is how we have done this in the past. If you have a bulk export, you can put in a Harvest Request and our team can trudge through it (hopefully if you have a timeline of at least a few months). If you go to support.libretexts.org and click on Support Ticket you can put in a harvest request. One of the things you'll need to provide is the OER License and authorship for each of them, as well. This is always an issue with bulk imports/exports.
