For organic structures, it is helpful to review the Insights Page for tips and tricks. For interactive elements, accessibility is a larger concern and should likely have an alternate tool to provide for students. This can be a description, an audio file, or some other tool. WithinADAPT, a secondary question can be used that does not rely on visual inspection. For a textbook, you may link to another subpage with more text description beyond what could be in an alt-text length description. Check with your institution's accessibility office for assistance in your particular need.
ForMathJax, we limit our implementation of Mathjax with MathML to a set of tools that have been shown to be readable by common screen-readers that are enabled. More information about MathJax/MathML accessibility can be found within MathJax documentation.
